Objectives:

1. Promotion of Peace & protection of human rights, with special focus on women, minorities and workers.

1. Eradication of gender-based and class discrimination against women.
1. Elimination of customary practices against women and changing the patriarchal mindset of society.

1. Counseling/legal assistance to the marginalized sections of the society.
1. Sensitizing youth for sectarian harmony and peace building.

The PNI strives to empower marginalized groups includes; women, children, laborers & religious minorities in claiming and defending their basic rights & Fundamental freedoms, and taking on leadership roles and participating fully in political processes and in all spheres of public life through social mobilization, capacity building and advocacy.

Goal:

Implementation of National & International Laws protecting marginalized segments of the society. Programs and mechanisms in place for the protection of right-holders involving human rights defenders in terms of their responsiveness to address human rights violations, and strengthen their resistance to discrimination, oppression and injustices within the society and at government level as well.
